Juventus came within a whisker of one of the Champions League's greatest-ever comebacks, only to be undone by a late Cristiano Ronaldo penalty.
The Serie A outfit had somehow managed to claw back a three-goal deficit and appeared to have done enough to force the tie into extra-time.
But Medhi Benatia's clumsy challenge led Michael Oliver to point to the spot and Ronaldo took care of the rest.
Veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon was sent off amidst the chaos, having protested Oliver's decision in furious fashion.
The Italy legend has previously suggested he would retire at the end of this season if Juventus failed to win the Champions League, so his number could finally be up.
Having enjoyed a stellar career, he probably didn't deserve to go out in such a manner. The final piece to his trophy cabinet puzzle will forever be empty.
But were fans sympathetic about the penalty and red card? Or were they glad that Oliver blew his whistle and gave Ronaldo another opportunity to show off his abs?
Well, as you can imagine, the incident has divided opinion. Some supporters are adamant the spot kick was correctly awarded but others are not so sure.
