Sometimes football isn't fair. The best team doesn't always win and the losers leave the pitch feeling hard done by.
That wasn't the case when Crystal Palace beat Burnley at Selhurst Park this weekend. The 2-0 scoreline suggested that a relatively tight encounter took place in south London.
But it didn't tell the whole story. Sean Dyche's men may have ended up with 41% of possession but they got absolutely battered by the Eagles.
Joe Hart's goal was well and truly peppered, with the former England goalkeeper facing no fewer than 29 shots.
Such a huge total does not come around too often, so it was no surprise to see Palace fans enjoying their side's dominance on social media.
The Clarets, who are already being dragged into a relegation battle, failed to see the funny side.
It could have been a whole lot worse if the Palace players - Andros Townsend aside - had actually remembered to wear their shooting boots
