'New generation' - England fans excited by Gareth Southgate's latest squad

It's an exciting time to be an England fan.

Gareth Southgate has signed a new contract, which will keep him in charge until 2022, and also picked an intriguing squad for the upcoming games against Croatia and Spain.

Jadon Sancho, Mason Mount and James Maddison represent three new faces to be included , with Three Lions supporters set to get a glimpse of what the next generation has to offer.

Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley has returned to the squad for the first time since May 2016, while Watford's Nathaniel Chalobah has also been included.

In total, there are six uncapped players in boss Gareth Southgate's 25-man squad.

An international break has often bee associated with boredom in recent years, but England supporters are getting a little giddy about what the next couple of weeks could bring.
