5th Jun 2018

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini in recent days.

Fellaini's current United deal is set to expire later this summer, meaning he will soon be available on a free transfer.

A potential switch to Paris Saint-Germain has also been mentioned, but the Mirror says it is Unai Emery who is now in pole position to secure the 30-year-old's services.

If there was ever a sign that Arsenal are going to move in a new direction now Arsene Wenger has left the building, this is it.

After all, it would be very difficult to imagine the former Gunners boss being interested in Fellaini.

But a new era has arrived and the Arsenal way may no longer simply be about recruiting technically blessed players.

Change is being viewed as a positive thing by the majority of Gunners fans, but that doesn't mean they're sold on the idea of Fellaini calling the Emirates Stadium home.
