Today's transfer round-up

11th Jan 2018

Now that we are well into January, the EPL market is beginning to flourish with moves being both rumoured and completed. Here is a quick run down of the latest movers and shakers in the EPL transfer world.

As mentioned elsewhere Manchester United could be attempting to scupper Manchester City's pursuit of Alex Sanchez. Liverpool are also preparing to enter the fray, or so it is claimed.

Crystal Palace are considering making a move for Roma's second choice goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski, although he would cost around £8 million.

Huddersfield Town are close to completing the signing of Norwich City's attacking midfielder Alex Pritchard. The clubs have agreed a fee of around £12 million.

Arsenal are on the verge of completing the signing of Bordeaux's exciting winger Malcom. One deal has been done – Francis Coquelin has been sold to La Liga side Valencia for £12 million.

Everton have upped the stakes in their pursuit of Arsenal forward Theo Walcott and are said to be prepared to offer £20 million. They face competition with a host of other clubs though, including Southampton and West Ham.

The Toffeemen are also planning a swoop for baby-faced Hearts midfielder Harry Cochrane (above). Despite only being sixteen, the young Scot is already a regular for the Edinburgh side, and a big future is expected to the youngster.

Despite interest from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, Fulham insist that their star left back Ryan Sessegnon will not be sold in January.

Liverpool youngster Matty Virtue has joined League Two side Notts County for the remainder of the season, while Newcastle's Ivan Toney has joined Scunthorpe on loan immediately after returning from Wigan Athletic.
